This year, the Latin Grammys introduce three new categories: Songwriter of the Year, Best Singer-Songwriter Song, and Best Portuguese-Language Urban Performance.

Mark your calendars for the 24th Annual Latin Grammy Awards happening on Nov. 16 in Sevilla, Spain.
Just like the general Grammy Awards, the Latin Grammys now have a minimum of 10 nominees in each of the "Big Four" categories: Record of the Year (with 11 nominees), Album of the Year, Song of the Year, and Best New Artist.

Mexican American songwriter and producer Edgar Barrera leads the pack with 13 nominations, putting him at the forefront of today's Latin music scene.

Interestingly, all three artists with the second-highest nominations, seven each, have collaborated with Barrera.

These talented individuals are Colombian singers Camilo, Karol G, and Shakira, making this year's Latin Grammys even more exciting for fans.
