So, India and Canada are in the middle of a diplomatic dance. They've just expelled each other's diplomats, and it's getting tense.

This all started with Canada pointing fingers at India, alleging connections to the killing of a Sikh leader, Hardeep Singh Nijjar, in British Columbia. India called these allegations "absurd" and asked Canada to crack down on anti-India groups on its soil.
But here's where it gets interesting. India has been expressing its unhappiness with Canada's handling of Sikh separatists advocating for Khalistan, an independent homeland. They're not happy with Canada's perceived inaction on this front.

Dr. Dhananjay Tripathi from South Asian University in New Delhi says this could strain the relationship further.

He mentions that the UK handled pro-Khalistan protests sensibly, and Canada has a similar responsibility to prevent violence on its soil 🇮🇳🇨🇦
